Well, here we go! After long hours of creating and recreating, we have our new blog all set up.

Our previous blog was "derekintaiwan" and was missing one huge element...Jocelyn! I was using that one before I left for Taiwan. It was supposed to be a sort of "travel journal". However, I didn't realize that almost three years later Taiwan would become my new home. Now I am very happy to say that I have found the love of my life and am settling down, here in Taiwan, for a while.

Of course, we will be visiting the US to see family as often as possible. Between our jobs and busy schedules we hope to be able to return to the US at least once a year, if not more.

Since the old blog has been replaced, you can go ahead and disregard it. There will be no future updates to it and I hope to be able to delete it soon. I somehow locked myself out of it (aka: forgot the password and login )

We are going to put a little more effort into this one and keep it up to date with what is going on in our lives . And if you are wondering...Yes, I wrote the password and login down . We are pretty happy with the layout so far, but are sure that there will be future tweaks and adjustments to get it just right.
